The Van Phuoc Agriculture Co., Ltd and Cat Hanh No.1 Agriculture Cooperative coordinated to establish a high-quality rice productive partnership, aiming to meet the ever-increasing demand for rice. The cooperation is also expected to bring the mutual benefit to both farmers and businesses.
194 farmer households in two hamlets of Vinh Kien and Vinh Truong joined the partnership. Van Phuoc company will offer 40 percent of total expenses to the farmers, helping them buy agricultural facilities.
The farmers will have more favourable conditions to cultivate their rice fields effectively and safely. The company will then buy rice with higher price.
Joining the partnership, farmers will be financially supported and assisted in applying advanced technologies. Also, their production will be also underwritten. They will have more preferential conditions to improve the key facilities for rice production while the businesses will have a stable source of high-quality rice.
The rice productive partnership is a long-term cooperation in producing and consuming rice. It is also a driving force to quickly apply technological and scientific advances in the rice production, according to the company’s director Bui Quang Vu.
As for the farmers, the new productive partnership will help them improve the quality of rice and, as for businesses, they will be able to buy high-quality rice and enhance their competitiveness.
