CC47 to list on Hose

Binh Dinh-based Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47) has plans to trade 8 million shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange early next week under the code of C47.

The company on Tuesday held a seminar to introduce the investment opportunity for investors in HCMC. The central province-based company has total chartered capital of VND80 billion and total assets of VND1.2 trillion.

It operates in constructing hydraulic and hydropower works, transportation works, civil and industrial construction works.

It also owns the four-star Seagull Hotel with 170 rooms in the province’s Quy Nhon City and an overhauling service workshop with the capacity of 450 trucks per year. The company has also invested in other projects like Ham Ho Ecological tourist area in Tay Son District and Binh Dinh Ecological tourist area in the province.

Originally founded over 30 years, CC47 is also involved in various sectors but the construction sector will still be its core business, according to the company.

Nguyen Luong Am, general director of the company, said the company is currently targeting the HCMC property sector.

Last year, CC47 obtained more than VND1.6 trillion in revenue and VND29 billion in after-tax profit.

BSC has recommend investors buy C47’s shares at between VND18,000-21,000 per share. BIDV Securities Company Ltd. (BSC) is the listing consultant of the company.
