Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc (standing) speaks at a meeting with Bidiphar.

Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc on July 6 paid a working visit to Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company (Bidiphar) and Binh Dinh Aquaculture JSC; meanwhile provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung held a meeting with Binh Dinh Sugar JSC (Bisuco).

According to the reports, Bidiphar is now facing the difficulties in input expenses and the fluctuation foreign currency interest rate.

The company’s leaders asked the provincial leader to offer more land to expand its production and build houses for its workers as well as give the company favourable conditions to take out preferential loans.

The Binh Dinh Aquaculture JSC has also met similar challenges, let alone the shortage of raw material. It required some policies supporting fishermen and other issues.

Provincial Chairman Loc asked two companies to minimize the production expenses and carry out any possible solutions to avoid risks. He will steer functional bodies to consider their suggestions, helping them strengthen the production.

As for Bisuco, the company has seen many advantages; thus, it bought 492,000 tonnes of sugar-cane this year and generated 47,000 tonnes of sugar which were all sold out, earning the turnover of over VND1 trillion.

At present, it has implemented many measures to stabilize the production. Bisuco is expected to buy 400,000 tonnes of sugar-cane and produce 40,000 tonnes of sugar in the new season which starts on October 15.

Dung highly valued the company’s effort and encouraged its leaders to apply advanced technologies in production, aiming to increase the capacity.
