Work on Ken Lut Ha hydroelectric plant begins

The ground-breaking ceremony of the hydroelectric plant

The construction of Ken Lut Ha hydrolectric plant was kicked off by Binh Dinh Hydroelectric Joint Stock Company yesterday (March 24).

The construction is expected to finish within 3 years with the total capital of nearly 157 trillion VND. The 6 megawatt-plant, which is located on the Dak Lot stream, a main branch of the Con River in Vinh Thanh district, will generate about 22.1 million kWh per year after being in operation.

The project belongs to the strategy for the socio-economic development in western mountainous area, contributing to the economic growth in the area.
