An Nhon focuses on industries

An Nhon district’s authorities has implemented the scheme for industry and craft village development in the 2011-2015 period, aiming to explore the potential effectiveness of labor and land.

According to the scheme, the production value is expected to reach 458,5 billion VND in 2012, a surge of 69,5 percent against 2011, reaching the growth rate of 13,97 percent.

To fulfill the targets, An Nhon town has focused on finishing the infrastructure construction at current industrial zones, including Go Da Trang, Thanh Liem, Tan Duc, and Binh Dinh.

Alongside this, the local authorities also proposed to plan other IZs, such as An Mo, Nhon Tan, Hoa Son, promote the investment into Go Son IZ, and complete the land clearance in Thanh Cong IZ.

A total of 3 billion VND was also poured into upgrading the equipment and technological advances in fields of unbaked brick production, environment protection, and girdle cake production.

The town has also offered 786 million VND to open vocational training courses for local laborers, let alone the financial support for trade promotion activities.

Vice Chairman of An Nhon town People’s Committee Le Minh Toan said the total expenses for the scheme is more than 6,55 billion VND.

Relevant bodies were asked to support the business in equipment upgrade, brand registration, and fair participation, aiming to fulfill the targets set by the scheme.
