The photo “Student’s smile” got the special prize at a contest held by Binh Dinh College’s students’ association.

The festival of Gong and folk songs is scheduled to take place for the first time in An Lao district on December 5. The event is one of activities celebrating 48th anniversary of An Lao Victory, showing efforts to preserve traditional value of Kinh, H’re and Bana ethnic groups in the district.

Quy Nhon city’s team joining the Binh Dinh folk-song festival won a special prize at the event, closing on October 27.

The photographer Dao Tien Dat coming from Binh Dinh won the PSA gold medal at the 6th International Salon of Photography BANJA LUKA 2012 held in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

A ceremony was September 14 held at the Quang Trung Museum in the central province of Binh Dinh to commemorate the 220th death anniversary of the national hero Emperor Quang Trung.
