Viet Nam won a gold medal in the women's sepaktakraw double at the Doha Asian Games (ASIAD-15) after beating the Myanmar's team on Dec. 13.

Luu Thi Thanh and Nguyen Thi Hai Thao tamed Myanmar's Thin Kyu Kyu and Phyo May Zin 21-16, 21-16 in two sets of the final in only 44 minutes, bringing the third gold medal for the Vietnamese squad.

Earlier, the Vietnamese women's sepaktakraw double beat the Chinese team, the Filipino team and the Thai team in the preliminaries before overcoming the Japanese team in the quarterfinal.
