In the morning of 19^th March, at meeting hall of People’s Committee of Hoai Hao Commune, Hoai Nhon District, Binh Dinh Province, Liaison Committee of the 5^th Inter-regional High Commnand Music Troop, Centre of Traditional Culture Preservation and Development, Communist Party Committee and People’s Committee of Hoai Hao Commune co-organized a meeting to celebrate the 55^th birthday of the 5^th Inter-regional High Commnand Music Troop.

At the meeting, there were representatives: Mr. Le Huu Loc, Vice-chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, Mr. Hoang Minh Thang, former Minister of Commerce, Major General Nguyen Chi Trung, former troop leader, the first commissar of the troop, many troop members of various generations.

The representatives reviewed together victorious history of the troop. The troop was established at Hoi Phu Hamlet, Hoai Hao Commune, Hoai Nhon District on 20^th March 1952. It overcame a lot of obstacles and losses in wartime (resistance wars against French colonialists and American imperialists) to excellently fulfil its tasks of fighting and performing music for Vietnamese soldiers and people all over the 5^th inter-regional battlefield. Many of its beautiful performances have been living in memories of its audiences.

In the late afternoon of the same day, the organizers and the representatives set up a memorial stele to mark the 55^th birthday of the troop at Hoai Hao Communal Cultural House.
