Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee combined with Viet Nam Preservation Research and Promotion National Culture Centre to organize a Centenary death anniversary of Dao Tan - a famous man in culture of Binh Dinh (1907-2007) and 55th establishment of Dao Tan Tuong Theatre (1952 - 2007) on 25 August at Dao Tan Tuong Theatre in QuyNhonCity, BinhDinhProvince.
The permanent Deputy Province Committee Secretary, Pham Van Thanh; Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Vu Hoang Ha; Vice-Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh and crowded inside and ouside provincial representatives attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, all the attenders reminisced about life and achievements of Dao Tan as well as process of establishment and development of Dao Tan Tuong Theatre. They were enjoyed sort of extracts from most popular classical dramas of Dao Tan include Co Thanh, Ho Sanh Dan.
In morning 26 August, incense-offering ceremony to commemorate Dao Tan was organized at forefatherstemple of Dao Tan in Vinh Thanh Hamlet, Phuoc Loc Commune, Tuy Phuoc District.
In afternoon 26 August, a seminar on Dao Tan was carried out at Thanh Binh Hotel in QuyNhonCity that was attended by numerous of famous domestic and foreign professors, associate professors, doctors, scientists, theorists and critics. There are nearly ten speeches to be introduced to analyse beautiful and interresting traits of Dao Tan himself and his works as well as method of preservation and development his priceless works.
