Binh Dinh province People’s Committee on August 28 approved 59 prizes, including 22 A prizes , 22 B prizes, and 15 consolation prizes for the third Dao Tan-Xuan Dieu award (2001-2005).
For poems and epics, four works won A prizes: Trong tinh lang (in quietness) by Tran Thi Huyen Trang, Khoi hanh cung ba muoi chin mua xuan (start at the age of 39) by Nguyen Thanh Mung, May trang (white cloud) by Le Thu, and Bong truc (shade of invory bamboo) by Van Trong Hung.
For prose, 4 A prizes were granted to such works as Binh Dinh nhung nam thang chien tranh (Binh Dinh in wartime) by Nguyen Thu Hoai, Nhung thoi gian hoang phe by Le Hoai Luong, O lai voi dong song (stay with the river) by Xuan Mai, and Xuan that thap by Nguyen Kiem.
For research, translation, and literature criticism, there are 3 A prize-winning works, consisting of Cam nhan va binh tho (poem enjoyment and recitation) by Truong Tham, Cong nang cuoi cung (the last use) by Phan Trong Cau, and Mai vien co su by Dang Quy Dich.
For the traditional culture and ethnic minority literature and art, the works Huyen tich kinh xua – Van hoa dan gian vung thanh Hoang De (Huyen tich kinh xua – Traditional culture of Emperor Citadel) by Tran Thi Huyen Trang and Nguyen Thanh Mung, Hoamon Bahnar Konkdeh by Ha Giao won two A prizes.
For plays, there were 7 A prize-winning works, including Di tim chan chua (seek for the lord) by Van Trong Hung, Dao Tan-Tuong hat boi (Dao Tan- Vietnamese classical opera) by Vu Ngoc Lien, Mong ba vuong (Dreams for suzerainty), Coi nguon (the origin), Mat troi dem the ky, Dien vo dinh ( Dao Tan Classical Opera Theatre), Huyen thoai ve tieng hat (legend of a singing voice) (Binh Dinh bai choi opera troupe).
The only A prize was granted to the VCD “sing to comrade-in-arms” by Vu Trung, and “Binh Dinh-Land and People” (Chon Hien’s Exhibition).
In photography, the exhibition “Nguyen Ngoc Tuan’s artistic photographs) was granted the B prize.
