Dao Tan Tuong Theatre on September 22 held the anniversary of Vietnamese stage. Many artists attended the ceremony.

Traditionally, the 12th day of the eighth lunar month (September 22) is the annual  anniversary of Vietnamese stage, such as Tuong (classical opera), Cheo (popular opera), and Cai luong (reform opera).

The anniversary is held in each locality, depending on the distinctive features of each kind of stage art.

The celebration of the anniversary of Vietnamese stage aims at reviewing traditions of Vietnamese stage art and moral standards of Vietnamese traditional culture.
