Statue of King Quang Trung positioned

The ceremony to place the statue of King Quang Trung was held on January 2 at Quang Trung Park. Director of Binh Dinh Department of Culture and Information Van Trong Hung and the painter Luu Danh, author of the statue, attended the ceremony.

The bronze statue of King Quang Trung is 5 meter high and together with the pedestal it reaches nearly 12 meter. The relievo on the pedestal was sculpted by sculptors in Ninh Binh Province.

It is expected to complete in 10 days and, as planned, a ceremony to inaugurate the statue is to be held on January 20.

Also, at the ceremony, a stage will be made for the performance of Tuong (Vietnamese classical opera).
