Binh Dinh Department of Culture and Information held a press conference, releasing the information on Tay Son-Binh Dinh Festival, on January 24.
Deputy head of Tay Son-Binh Dinh Festival organising board Van Trong Hung affirmed that the programs and activities taking place at the festival will be held as a national event.
Programs mainly include grand incense ceremony at Tay Son three-hero temple, art performance at opening ceremony, the second international festival of Vietnam traditional martial arts, final night of Dao Tan Tuong (classical drama) festival, nigh festival with flower garlands and colored lanterns on Thi Nai lagoon, and Miss Beauty contest.
Also, there are various activities at the event.
At the press conference, representatives of mass media agencies contributed their ideas to the programs and promotion.
The festival will take place from August 1 to 3, 2008.
