Tay Son-Binh Dinh 2008 Festival is an opportunity to introduce Binh Dinh’s unique features tourists. On the occasion of the festival, many activities plan to take place.

The traditional craft village festival taking place from July 29 to August 3 promises to be an exciting event at Tay Son-Binh Dinh Festival. At the festival, many well-known products like Bau Da wine, Song Than rice vermicelli, Cho Huyen fermented pork roll will be introduced.
Also, other handicraft and household goods like conical hats and stone statues will be displayed at the festival. Those who visit the craft village festival will be able to join the making of these products.
Some cultural activities will also take place at the same time like Cau Ngu Festival (praying for good fishing harvest) and art performance.
Nearly 200 enterprises, craft village associations in Binh Dinh and other provinces plan to participate in the festival for trade promotion.
To make the promotion more effective, we intend to use pictures and videos to introduce craft villages to visitors. Also, on this occasion we would have a special issue on Binh Dinh’s traditional craft villages in English and Vietnamese, said Vice Director of Binh Dinh Industry Department, Nguyen Van Thang.
Together with craft village festival, a program of Binh Dinh’s food and drink is expected to introduce special food in Binh Dinh and specialities from other provinces. One more thing at the festival is the beer fest held by Sai Gon-Quy Nhon Beer Joint Stock Company.
Tay Son – Binh Dinh Festival is also an occasion for the 5th natural and traditional beauty festival taking place from July 27 to August 3. The 5th festival would be held with the participation of 45 members nationwide, said Chairman of Binh Dinh Natural and Traditional Beauty Association, Nguyen Duy Quy.
Many ornamental trees of all kinds including apricot blossom and orchid and ornamental fish and birds will be exhibited. Alongside this, a seminar on the market, human resource, and application of science and technology will also be held.
Learning experiences from Da Lat Flowers Festival and Ho Chi Minh City Natural and Traditional Beauty Festival, the organizing board would prepare all things for the festival, said Quy.
