Festival of Tay Phuong Danh blacksmith village held

As annually, a festival was held in Tay Phuong Danh blacksmith on March 19 to commemorate the ancestor of blacksmith village.

Legend has it that the ancestor of Tay Phuong Danh blacksmith is Dao Gia Tuong, moving from the north to settle here.

At the end of the 18th century, the Tay Son insurgent army set up its base in this village, blacksmiths also made weapons for them.

The festival took place in four days with many activities, including the incense offering, review of its traditions, art performance, and folk games.
