The 255th anniversary of King Quang Trung’s birthday was held at Quang Trung Museum on June 8.
Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Council Nguyen Xuan Duong; member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Vu Hoang Ha; Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thanh; and the others attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh emphasized King Quang Trung’s achievements in the cause of the country’s unification.
She also called on people to uphold the patriotic tradition, building and protecting the country.
After the flower and incense offering ceremony at the statue of King Quang Trung and Tam kiet shrine, some cultural and art performances took place.
