Binh Lam tower excavated

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has allowed Binh Dinh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to cooperate with Institute of Social Sciences, Southern region to archaeologically excavate Binh Lam tower in Tuy Phuoc District.

The excavation will be carried out on an area of 600 sq.m from July 1 to September 30. Dr. Bui Chi Hoang, working at Archaeology Research Center, will be in charge of the excavation.

The archaeological excavation also aims to collect scientific evidences for the restoration of Binh Lam tower approve by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
