Binh Dinh UNESCO club opens

Binh Dinh UNESCO club for researching and collecting antiques opened on July 26 in Quy Nhon city. Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien attended the ceremony.

Binh Dinh UNESCO club was established under the decision by Vietnam Association for UNESCO Clubs. It aims to support the preservation and exhibition of historical items and raise the people’s awareness of cultural heritage protection.

It proposed some programs for its operation, such as member registration and exhibition and auction of valuable antiques.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Thien highly appreciated the establishment of the club, hoping that it will contribute to the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritages in Binh Dinh.
