2nd int’l festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts closes

The 2nd international festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts closed on August 3. Central and provincial leaders attended the closing ceremony.

108 delegations coming from 26 countries and territories participated in the festival taking place in Quy Nhon city and Districts of Tay Son, An Nhon, and Tuy Phuoc.

Participants showed many performances, attracting scores of audiences. A seminar on Vietnamese martial arts was also held on the occasion on August 2.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Binh, head of the organisation board, affirmed that Binh Dinh had the honour of hosting the event. It was not only a chance for schools of martial arts to learn each other but a turning point for the development of Vietnamese martial arts in the world.

The Organisation Board granted certificates of merit to those who contributed to the success of the festival.
