216th death anniversary of King Quang Trung celebrated

A ceremony was solemnly held at Quang Trung Museum, Tay Son District on August 29, marking the 216th death anniversary of King Quang Trung (1792-2008).

Leaders of Tay Son District, provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and An Khe town of Gia Lai Province attended the ceremony.

After the traditional worship, the incense offering ceremony was held at Tay Son Tam Kiet shrine, showing respect for King Quang Trung who led the Tay Son insurgent army to defeat the invaders, liberating the country.
