King Quang Trung’s coronation re-enacted

A festival featuring a re-enactment of the enthronement of King Quang Trung will be held on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Viet Nam People’s army.

The festival, organised by the Hue People’s Committee, will be the first of many events celebrating the 1,000th year of Thang Long-Ha Noi at this year’s Hue Festival.

At the same time the unveiling ceremony of King Quang Trung’s statue in Hue city will take place.
