The south central coastal province of Binh Dinh has opened the photo exhibition titled 'Duong Truong Son - Duong Chien Thang' ('Truong Son Road - Road of victory') and 'Dien Bien Phu - Ban hung ca' ('Dien Bien Phu - Epic') to commemorate the  50th anniversary of the Truong Son Road (Ho Chi Minh Trail) and the 55th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954).

On display are 122 black-and-white and color photos of the memories on the Dien Bien Phu Victory and construction of the Truong Son Road, a path that ran from north Vietnam to south Vietnam through the neighboring countries Laos and Cambodia and was also the only route used for providing support, in the form of manpower and materiel, to the National Front for Liberation of Southern Vietnam, and the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN), during the American War.

The exhibition is being organized by the Basic Culture Department, Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory Museum, Vietnam Military History Museum, and Truong Son Road Museum.

It opened March 19 at the Binh Dinh Province's Culture Center and will remain on show until May 19.
