“Music of Tuong” wins Vietnam Stage Artists’ Association prize

“Nhac Tuong” (the Music of Tuong) by musicians Dao Duy Kien and Gia Thien of Dao Tan Tuong (classical drama) Theatre won the prize C by Vietnam Stage Artists’ Association.

“The Music of Tuong” is a study on the main musical instruments used in Tuong. Two musicians describe the value of each instrument in the preservation of Tuong art.

“The Music of Tuong” was published last year.

The award granting ceremony is to be held in May.
