Fine arts exhibition opens in Binh Dinh

The fine arts exhibition for central and Central Highlands region opened in Quy Nhon city on August 18.

The exhibition has displayed 153 paintings, sculptures, and applicable fine arts by 133 artists from Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh.

Works on display reflect various themes of current life in the central and Central Highlands region.

No work won the A prize. The B prize was presented to Nguyen Thanh Tung from Quang Ngai province with his work entitled ‘Nhip dieu Dung Quat’ (the rhythm of Dung Quat) and two C prizes for Nguyen Chon Hien from Binh Dinh with his work ‘Tram tich’ (Sediment) and Nguyen Van Ham with ‘Vao hoi’ (festival starts).

The exhibition is scheduled to close by August 25.
