The central province of Binh Dinh will participate in the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi taking place in Ha Noi next year.

The province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism was assigned to cooperate with relevant bodies to prepare programs for the anniversary.

Accordingly, thousands of apricot blossom trees will be displayed in Ha Noi together with performances of martial arts music, Tuong (classical drama), bai choi, and Binh Dinh martial arts.

Also, Go Sang potteries will be exhibited in the capital during the event.

Alongside these, many events will take place at Quang Trung Museum, celebrating 221st anniversary of Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da victory and 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.

On the occasion, Binh Dinh will host the third international festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts in August 2010, let alone activities held during the Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.
