The Binh Dinh martial arts delegation will perform at the festival featuring a re-enactment of the enthronement of King Quang Trung in Hue celebrating the 1,000th year of Thang Long-Ha Noi.

This will be the second time a re-enactment of the enthronement of King Quang Trung taking place at Hue Festival. Binh Dinh also joined the 2008’s festival, contributing to the success of the event.

Master Tran Duy Linh, a member of Binh Dinh delegation, said there would be four performances at this year’s festival. All well prepared for their performances.

The festival, the first of many events at Hue Festival 2010, is scheduled to take place on January 9 with three main parts, including the heaven and earth worship, the enthronement of King Quang Trung, and troop departure ceremony.

Also, at the same time the unveiling ceremony of King Quang Trung’s statue in Ban Mountain will be held. The statue is positioned at the national hero Quang Trung commemoration complex, consisting of Quang Trung-Ngoc Han Princess temple, Nui Ban historical relic, and other items relating to the Tay Son movement.
