The unveiling ceremony of King Quang Trung’s statue and a re-enactment of the enthronement of King Quang Trung took place yesterday (Jan.9) at the Ban Mountain Square in Hue City.

The statue of King Quang Trung is positioned on an area of 21,000 s.q meters on the Ban Mountain. Sculptor Le Dinh Quy made the statue out of rocks. The sculpture has the total capital of VND19.8 billion.

There are also a courtyard, a temple worshipping King Quang Trung and Princess Le Ngoc Han, and an exhibition house displaying items related to the Tay Son Uprising.

The re-enactment of the enthronement of King Quang Trung was performed by nearly 1,500 artists.
