Binh Dinh wins 6 gold at Tuong, folk-song festival

36 gold and 36 silver medals were presented to artists and plays joining the national Tuong (classical drama) and folk-song festival 2010 which closes on Jan.15.

Binh Dinh’s plays and artists won 6 golds and 5 silvers at the festival. The Hon Viet (Vietnam’s soul) performed by Dao Tan Tuong Theatre won one gold and the Thoi con gai da xa (the girlhood was far away) play by Binh Dinh bai choi troupe won one silver.

Also, artist Thanh Binh and other meritorious artists, including Xuan Hoi, Minh Ngoc, Ho Thu, Thien Chi, won gold medals. Hoang Ngoc Dinh and Gia Thien won titles for the best director and the best musician, respectively.
