Archaeologists have found 9 antiques at the La Vuong site in Hoai Son commune, Hoai Nhon district, said director of Binh Dinh Museum, Dinh Ba Hoa on October 4.

The museum and Vietnam Institute for Archaeology have carried out an archaeological excavation at the site located at a height of 600-800 meters above the sea level.

The items have the shape of Cleaver, the name given to a type of biface stone tool or hand axe. They look like some ancient objects, dating back 40,000-70,000, found at the Lenggon valley in Malaysia.
