Those who have chances to go to the Go market located in Tuy Phuoc district on the first days of the first lunar month will be able to see picturesque scenes of Tet in villages. Scores of villagers with different kinds of specialties go to the market in the early morning on the first day.

At the Go market, the purchase is a chance to enjoy the Tet atmosphere. Wandering around the market, tourists could see many elderly people with joyfulness selling a few types of fruit. The market more and more attracts the locals and tourists thanks to its atmosphere and many folk games, such as lion dance, martial arts performance, and human chess.

On the first days of the first lunar month, tourists could also enjoy traditional boat race at fishing villages. The boat race festival held on Go Boi River is one of the most interesting events during Tet, showing the traditional unique beauty of fishing villages.

Before the boat race begins, people fill two sides of the river and enjoy the art performance with many folk songs. The competition begins with the participation of fishermen from communes of Phuoc Thang, Phuoc Son, Phuoc Thuan, and Phuoc Hoa.

On the way home, tourists should enjoy seafood at restaurants in Phuoc Son commune. Each dish has its distinctive taste, leaving tourists with unforgettable experiences.

The anniversary of Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da Victory is also worth visiting during Tet. The ceremony is annually held at the Quang Trung Museum on the fourth and fifth days of the first lunar month.

This year’s festival is scheduled to take place on the fourth day with a big art performance, celebrating 1000 years of Thang Long – Ha Noi.

Participating in the Dong Da Victory celebration, tourists should try to enjoy the traditional martial arts competition taking place at Phu Phong town’s stadium. The competition often attracts many martial arts learners everywhere.

Alongside these, there are still many festivals taking place across the province during the spring time. Surely, tourists could enjoy interesting things that couldn’t be found in the city.
