The traditional festival was held at Bang Chau bronze casting village in Dap Da town on April 30.

According to the organization board, the Bang Chau bronze casting village was founded 200 years ago. Its artisans and bronze casters have overcome scores of difficulties to maintain the traditional craft village. Many their products have become great masterpieces, such as the 2-meter Buddha statue placed in Long Khanh pagoda, the full-length statue of President Ho Chi Minh displayed in An Nhon district’s Culture Center.

Also, on the occasion, Bang Chau was officially recognized as the traditional bronze casting village.
