The Research Centre for Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Culture and Binh Dinh People’s Committee jointly organized a scientific workshop on the relation between Binh Dinh – Tay Son and Thang Long – Ha Noi via art works on September 23 at Ha Noi-based National Convention Centre.

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.

The workshop saw the presence of the acting leader of Performing Arts Department Vuong Duy Bien, Prof. Vu Khieu, other experts and artists.

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh chaired the workshop.

The participants gave analysis with high evaluation towards the ideology and immortal image of the national hero Nguyen Hue, of the Tay Son Uprising in the cause against internal enemies and foreign invaders, the cause of bringing about unification for the country, and the ever nice relation between Thang Long and Binh Dinh via historical events and characters in works of art.

The workshop was actually a useful chance to recognize achievements as well as to identify shortcomings of the art works about Binh Dinh – Tay Son in relation with Thang Long – Ha Noi, said the Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh.

Experiences and lessons should be drawn to improve quality of the art works in the theme. Binh Dinh will give full support to valuable art works as it had been done for years, she added.
