Book on Tay Son, Thang Long to be published

The Research Centre for Preservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Culture has finished the book entitled “Binh Dinh – Tay Son and Thang Long – Ha Noi”.

Many works showing the relation between Binh Dinh-Tay Son and Thang Long-Ha Noi are involved in the book. They include different types of traditional arts, such as Tuong (classical drama), bai choi, cai luong (reformed theatre), and cheo (traditional opera).

Most of them focus on national heroes, including Quang Trung, Bui Thi Xuan, Ngo Thi Nham, and Tran Quang Dieu.

16 of 51 were selected to be printed in the script collection entitled “Binh Dinh – Tay Son and Thang Long – Ha Noi”.

The book is expected to be one of works celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Ha Noi.
