8:54', 21/2/ 2011 (GMT+7)

Locating in the northwest of Quy Nhon city, Tuy Phuoc district is rich in historical and cultural relics of provincial and national magnitude, such as Banh It tower, Binh Lam tower, Dao Tan’s tomb and commemoration house, the tomb of Le Cong Mien, Xuan Dieu commemoration house, Ba pagoda, Nuoc Man port, and so forth.

Tuy Phuoc also sees various festival held annually, attracting scores of visitors, such as Go market festival, boat race on Go Boi River, and Cau Ngu festival, helping people to know more about the national tradition.

Many specialties could also be found in the district, including Huyen market fermented pork roll, banh it la gai, banh xeo, and seafood.

With such potential, the tourism development will assist the district in developing its economy. However, there are still many shortcomings of tourism services, particularly the traffic system as well as the propagation.

It is necessary to raise the people’s awareness of the preservation of cultural and historical values. This is the sustainable foundation for upholding the cultural and historical values in the field of tourism.
