Imposing art performance to be involved in forest product festival

The organizing board of the first Vietnam forest product festival hosted in Quy Nhon will organize many art performances to attract more visitors.

The opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled to take place on March 26 at the square in front of the Quy Nhon Trade Centre. In additional to the usual activities, the ceremony will also involve impressive art performances.

A song welcoming all participants will open the ceremony. Following will be a series of art performances with the participation of Dao Tan Tuong (classical drama) Theatre.

The 60 minute-art performance consists of three episodes. The first episode praising the value of Vietnam’s forest products will include the performance of the song “Bach Dang Giang” (Bach Dang River) and the show entitled The legendary forests.

The second episode will show the significance of forest products in life and culture sector through various art performances.

The last one will include songs featuring the beauty of forest and love for forest, implying that all of us must our awareness of forest protection.

The closing ceremony will also see another interesting art program praising the country’s spring, love and youth, let alone different activities taking place during two nights.

Many famous singers coming from HCM City will perform at the festival. Also, local singers, artists, and students will be asked to join the programs.

Two songs praising Binh Dinh’s land and people are expected to be performed at the festival. The program entitled “The echo of forest” taking place at the closing ceremony will see the performance of another song named “Song” (wave). The program will feature not only the distinctive sounds of forest but the local people’s martial arts spirit, according to the musician Gia Thien.

At present, all participants of the art program have actively prepared for their performances. We’ve practised hardly with the hope that our performance will contribute to the success of the festival, said choreographer Hoang Viet.
