SQC Binh Dinh: Exhausted?

SQC Binh Dinh’s players must try their utmost when the final rounds are coming.

SQC Binh Dinh football team has finished two matches of the 15th round of the National First Division 2011. Although there are some new qualified players, its fans still feel worried about the stability of the team. They have many shortcomings that need resolving.

Many football teams attending at both first division and V-League want to have qualified players who are wearing SQC Binh Dinh’s jersey. However, it seems that the number of such experienced players is not enough for SQC Binh Dinh’s long-term strategies.

The team’s coach Nguyen Ngoc Thien hasn’t still felt secure about centreback and wing-back defenders. At present, Phuong Thoi, a good wing-back defender, and centreback defender Ngoc Thach are no longer present in the team’s list.

While Thien has many options for the defenders, he hasn’t got many midfielders. Such players as Nirut, Bruno, or Van Hien used to be good choices the position of defending midfielder, but the position is now the weakest link in the chain as players Hoang Thuong and Thanh Phuong are too old to play well whilst Thanh Tai is not suitable to the position.

Coach Thien sometimes used Hoang Lam and Viet Khoa to play together but this proved inefficient. In addition, the midfielder Jorge Cruz hasn’t hit top form for SQC Binh Dinh.

Forward Obinna is still alone as his partner Dang Amaobi hasn’t proved his skills. At present, Thanh An is the only domestic forward registered for the team, but he is not the best choice.

Finishing 15 rounds but SQC Binh Dinh is still finding the most favourable team formation as it has to depend on some good players. Its strategy is also problematic. It couldn’t surprise other teams, even when playing at home; moreover, when the whole team gets stuck, there is no player who is capable of making a difference.

SQC is now facing many problems that need resolving soon, aiming to well prepare for the next rounds while they don’t have much time. The team’s coaches are expected to find suitable strategies to help their players to play well and the team will be promoted.
