The Fahasa bookstore in Quy Nhon city has prepared lots of children books for the summer.

Binh Dinh Centre of Movie Distribution will organize a free summer movie season for all children all over the province from June 1 to August 30, as part of direction by the provincial Department of Culture-Sport & Tourism.

“All of cinemas in Binh Dinh will be provided enough children movies to serve the target audience. The 31-3 Cinema in Quy Nhon city will have 2 shows (morning and afternoon) every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and only 1 show every Tuesday.

Mobile cinemas at suburban districts will save 10-15 minutes before their main shows for the children films,” said Vo Van Tien, a distribution official of the centre.

The children movies include educational Vietnamese and famous foreign cartoons.

Bookstores at Quy Nhon also aggressively joint the children summer book season. “We have prepared nearly 500 children books with about 20,000-30,000 editions,” said head shopkeeper of Quy Nhon’s Fahasa Bookstore. “The bookstore has organized the ‘Friendly weekend’ program with many new and attractive sales promotion activities from May 1 to August 31”.

This summer, there are notably a lot of Vietnamese children books available on shelves with famous foreign books. Majority of the Vietnamese books are beautiful in term of appearance and diversified in term of subjects.

“Vietnamese children books in this summer season are abundant. Thus, I have more options to choose suitable books for my children as a way of entertainment and teaching Vietnamese culture-history as well,” said Ngoc Thuy, a customer of Fahasa Quy Nhon.
