219th anniversary of Emperor Quang Trung’s death celebrated

The provincial and local representatives were offering flowers at Emperor Quang Trung’s statue.

The 219th death anniversary of Emperor Quang Trung was held at Quang Trung Museum in Phu Phong town, Tay Son district on August 28.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thien, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Le Huu Loc, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Mai Thanh Thang attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the delegation and many people attended the flower offering ceremony at the statue of Emperor Quang Trung and the Tay Son Temple dedicated to the three Tay Son heroes as well as carried out traditional death rituals to honor the merit of the plain-clothes hero Quang Trung-Nguyen Hue.
