Ly Thuong Kiet primary school wins first prize at drawing contest

A drawing contest in “Response to the campaign to Make the World Cleaner” in 2011 was co-organized by Quy Nhon Office of Education and Training and Binh Dinh Department of Environmental Protection on September 17.

72 pupils from 24 primary schools at Quy Nhon city participated the contest.

Theme of the contest was “natural environment”, covering ranges of issues, including natural environmental protection, activities which leave impacts on the environment and nature, wildlife protection, industrial production which causes environmental pollution, and weather phenomena.

The participants drew pictures on A4 papers with crayons and brushes during 120 minutes.

Ly Thuong Kiet primary school won the first prize. Le Hong Phong primary school and Nhon Chau secondary school respectively won the second and the third prizes.

Nguyen Le Ngoc My, a fifth grader from Ly Thuong Kiet primary school won special prize. There were 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes for individuals.
