Provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Thien encourages some martial arts practitioners at Long Phuoc pagoda’s club.

Binh Dinh Provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Thien and his entourage visited some traditional martial arts clubs in Binh Dinh on Sept. 26.

The clubs, including Phan Tho, Phi Long Vinh, and Long Phuoc pagoda, showed the delegation their disadvantages.

Thien asked functional bodies to work out solutions to recover Binh Dinh traditional martial arts in the combination with tourism, aiming to help these clubs make profit from martial arts performances.

Binh Dinh People’s Committee will be responsible for steering the project and submit the proposal to the Standing Board of provincial Party Committee in the fourth quarter of 2011.
