Coastal festival opens

An art performance at the opening ceremony of the festival

The coastal festival opened in Tuy Phuoc district’s Phuoc Thuan commune on June 4, with the participation of more than 600 officials and artists.

This year’s event will see the participation of six teams coming from districts of Tuy Phuoc, Phu Cat, Phu My, Hoai Nhon, Quy Nhon city, and provincial border guard unit.

The opening ceremony took place in a bustling atmosphere, featured by different traditional performances.

The main activities have taken place in two day (June 5-6), including bai choi folk-song competition, sport events, and beauty contest.

The festival is going to close late Wednesday.
