2. Project objective:

Construction of new shipyard to build and repair cargo ships and fishing boats.

3. Project location:

Nhon Hoi Economic Zone - PhuongMaiPeninsula, QuyNhonCity.

4. Form of investment:

100% foreign owned capital or joint-venture

5. Background:

At present, the area of Thi Nai Lagoon and QuyNhonPort can handle vessels with 30,000DWT, in the near future (3-5 following years) vessels with 50,000DWT can go in and out easily. This area is well sheltered and thus favourable for a shipyard to operate.

There are now several small units building and repairing vessels (mainly fishing boats onshore and offshore).
