The construction of King Quang Trung temple was completed in May in Vinh City, central province of Nghe An. The temple honoring the hero in plain clothing is a highlight for Vinh City on its progress of construction and development.
Those who visit the King Quang Trung temple in Vinh City all realize its splendid and modern but still ancient features. The whole temple is built from iron wood.
The construction of King Quang Trung temple was completed after five years, satisfying the people’s need. The work not only honors the King Quang Trung’s great achievements but creates a cultural and architectural complex in Vinh City.
The temple is expected to become an attractive destination for tourists coming to Nghe An province. Locating on the peak of Dung Quyet Mountain, the temple has the height of 97 meters.
“The construction was started in 2003. Due to its cultural and spiritual features, it was necessary to have various architectural solutions to be suitable to the landscape as well as the spiritual aspects,” said Nguyen Thanh An, Vice Chairman of Vinh City Province People’s Committee.
Owing to such high demands, the construction was paid great attention to. “All items are important, requiring the accurateness and carefulness in details. It, however, still requires the creativeness. This is a really difficult task, but the temple was perfectly built,” said Vice Chairman of Vinh City People’s Committee Nguyen Quoc Hong.
Not only engineers and qualified workers but experts and researchers in fields of cultural heritage, archaeology, and history as well as the others play the key role in building the temple. The King Quang Trung temple, therefore, thoroughly deserves as a pride of those who live in Nghe An, particularly in Vinh City in the progress of development.
