The first session of the National Assembly term XII opens on July 19 in Hanoi with a focus on electing important position for the state apparatus, and making some laws become more specific and suitable with the factual situation.
Present NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong will address the opening speech and a report on the election of the NA term XII.
General Secretary Nong Duc Manh will also have an important speech on the opening day of the NA session.
Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Huynh Dam will have a report on voters’ petition and expectation towards the NA.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung will have a general view on the implementation of socio-economic development plans and the state budget estimates in the first six months of the year and solutions to successfully realize the plans in the last six months.
The election and adoption of high-ranking officials will also begin on the first day of the NA session.
