Cabinet meeting discusses bill on oil and gas

The Government opened its regular meeting on February 27, focusing discussions on draft laws on oil and gas, value-added tax and corporate income.

The participants gave opinions on land-related tax polices and incentives in corporate income tax, as well as the imposition of income taxes on the transference of oil and gas contracts and the bidding for oil and gas equipment purchase.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who chaired the meeting, assigned ministries and agencies concerned to amend and supplement the draft laws to submit them to the National Assembly and its standing committee for consideration.

PM Dung congratulated the health sector on the Viet Nam Physicians’ Day (February 27).

On February 28, the Government will discuss the socio-economic situations in February and the past two months.
