Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong signed the decision No. 01-QDNS/TW on the assignment of Politburo members to the Secretariat of the 11th Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee (CPVCC).
Under the decision, Politburo members who will join the CPVCC Secretariat include:
- Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong
- Truong Tan Sang, Permanent member of the CPVCC Secretariat
- Le Hong Anh in charge of internal affairs
- To Huy Rua, Head of the CPVCC’s Commission for Organisation
- Ngo Van Du, Chairman of the CPVCC’s Commission for Inspection
- Dinh The Huynh, Head of the CPVCC’s Commission for Popularisation and Education.
Earlier, at its first conference, the 11th CPVCC elected four members to the Secretariat, namely Ngo Xuan Lich, Truong Hoa Binh, Ha Thi Khiet and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
