Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydroelectricity Joint Stock Co.
Investment into Kon Tum upper hydroelectricity project

The Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydroelectricity Joint Stock Co. has just got permission to invest into the Kon Tum upper hydroelectricity project (Kon Tum Province), totaling VND3,980-billion (roughly USD249-thousand) investment. The plant has a capacity of 220 MW and an electric power production of 925 million KWh/year when it comes into operation. Construction period of the plant will last from 2006 to 2012.

Previously, Ministry of Industry issued a decision to approve planning of Vinh Son 2 Hydroelectric project. The plant has operational capacity of 144 MW and total power-production of 487 billion KWh/year with total VND1.871-billion (roughly USD117-thousand) investment. Construction period of the plant will last from 2007 to 2011.
