Basically eliminate thatched roof, neohouzeaua wattle houses of ethnic minorities

After two years of great effort, BinhDinhProvince now basically eliminates thatched roof, neohouzeaua wattle houses of ethnic minorities in the province.

In order to implement the scheme, during the last two years, BinhDinhProvince has mobilized different sources of capital to fund 2,229 ethnic minority households all over the province for the elimination of their temporary thatched roof, neohouzeaua wattle houses. Hunger eradication and poverty alleviation fund of BinhDinhProvince supports 1,700 households and 134 State Programme fund supports 529 households. Total budget of the scheme is over VND 3.6 billion (USD 225,000) in which central state budget makes up more than VND 2.6 billion (USD 162.500) and integrated budget of temporary house elimination programme of BinhDinhProvince covers VND 984 million (USD 61,500).
