In morning of 9-1-2007, at headquarter of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, Mr. Vu Hoang Ha, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee,Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, presided over a meeting to boost implementation of the projects and promotion of investment into Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (Nhon Hoi EZ).

At the meeting, Chairman Vu Hoang Ha pointed out must-to-be consolidation of managerial staff of Nhon Hoi EZ Steering Committee in order to intensively attract investment into Nhon Hoi EZ. Simultaneously, the Steering Committee must move most of its managerial staff to Nhon Hoi EZ so that they are able to timely solve job affairs, building up action plan soon, proposing operation mechanism and policies of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee was also directed to review its interagency co-operation regulations and administrative reform, recruiting  competent staff and strengthening the managerial capacity of the staff for bodies and agencies related to investment promotion into Nhon Hoi EZ.

In term of land clearance, planning and implementation of the projects in Nhon Hoi EZ, Mr. Ha asked the Steering Committee and other functional bodies and agencies to establish a Management Board of Land Clearance for Nhon Hoi EZ, drastically stopping illegal land occupation and housing construction, imposing a severe punishment upon violators. Detail planning of functional sub-zones in Nhon Hoi EZ, progress of infrastructure building projects, relocation areas and relocation arrangement affairs, stabilization of life for local people after the resettlement, employment training and promotion for local labours, etc. must be accelerated.

Mr. Vu Hoang Ha is reportedly Chief of the Steering Committee and Mr. Le Huu Loc, Vice-chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, is Standing Vice-chief of the Steering Committee. Leaders of the Steering Committee and leaders of the functional bodies and agencies are standing members.
