Perspective of An Nhon Cultural Bookshop |
People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has given its approval to a project of building 3 new bookshops by Quy Nhon Culture Co. Accordingly, the 3 bookshops will be built in 2007 with over-VND-16 billion total investment (USD 1 million).
2 out of the 3 bookshops will locate in QuyNhonCity. Le Loi-Quy Nhon Cinema will be altered to Le Loi Cultural Book Supermarket and expectedly inaugurated in fourth quarter of 2007. It will cover an area of more than 800 square metres. Investment into infrastructure and goods of this bookshop’s is worth VND 8.5 billion (USD 531,250). Ngo May Cultural Bookshop (at No. 11-13, Ngo May Street) will open in the third quarter this year. Its investment is nearly VND 2 billion (USD 125,000).
The rest An Nhon Cultural Bookshop will be based at Binh Dinh Town and ,in fact, a new form of 30-3 An Nhon Cinema.The over-700-m2 bookshop will open on occasion of late Vietnamese President Ho’s birthday anniversary (19th May 2007). Its investment is roughly VND 6 billion (USD 375,000).
